If you are coming from a high cost coastal city, this may feel manageable. If you are coming from the Midwest or a smaller market, plan accordingly.

The Sales Tax Advantage

Oregon has no sales tax. Zero. If you are moving from California, Washington, or most other states, this is an immediate and meaningful savings on everything you buy, groceries, clothing, cars, furniture.
